PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control device, and a hybrid vehicle comprising the drive control device, and a drive control method capable of minimizing impact of a three phase short-circuit to a travel performance of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A drive control device comprises gear change control prohibition means (14), which prohibits a gear change to be done by a transmission (5) when a rotation speed (N) of a motor (3) detected by rotation speed detection means (15) becomes slower than a preset rotation speed (Ns) after an inverter (10) is set to a three-phase short-circuit by three-phase short-circuit execution means (14).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
