PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve fuel economy by further raising a use rate of battery power.SOLUTION: A drive control part 8A acquires map information (variety of data files) having at least altitude data, distance data and road data related to a traveling schedule route by using a map information acquisition part 8a, acquires a flat route zone, an uphill route zone and a downhill route zone by calculation on the basis of the altitude data and distance data by a zone route calculation part 8b, predicts a power consumption amount and a regeneration charge amount at a battery on the basis of a calculation result by the zone route calculation part 8b and the road data by a power consumption regeneration prediction part 8c, sets a traveling mode at a motor traveling mode which is obtained by merely a motor up to a regeneration charge expectation zone by a traveling mode setting part 8d when the prediction of regeneration charge is obtained by the power consumption regeneration prediction part 8c, and in the regeneration charge expectation zone, sets the traveling mode at a normal traveling mode which is obtained by an engine and a motor.

    【課題】バッテリ電力の使用率をさらに高くすることで、さらなる燃費向上を図ること。【解決手段】駆動制御部8Aは、地図情報取得部8aにより、走行予定ルートに係わる、少なくとも標高データ、距離データ及び道路データを有する地図情報(各種データファィル)を取得し、区間ルート演算部8bにより、標高データ及び距離データを元に平坦ルート区間、上坂ルート区間、下坂ルート区間を演算により求め、電力消費回生予測部8cにより、区間ルート演算部8bによる演算結果と道路データとを元に、バッテリにおける電力消費量及び回生充電量を予測し、走行モード設定部8dにより、電力消費回生予測部8cにより回生充電の予測が得られた場合、回生充電期待区間まではモータのみによるモータ走行モードに設定し、回生充電期待区間ではエンジンとモータによる通常走行モードに設定するようにしている。【選択図】図3
