PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an escalator footstep which can improve the safety of a passenger.SOLUTION: The escalator footstep has an aluminum die-cast footstep frame 60, a cleat board 62 composed of soft material, and a riser member 64 composed of soft material, where the riser member 64 is fixed to a rear top surface 68 of the footstep frame 60, and the cleat board 62 is fixed to a front top surface 66 of the footstep frame 60 and a top surface 88 of the riser member 64.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
