PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically-driven brake of a vehicle including a parking brake mechanism in which the parking brake is rapidly actuated, and the parking brake function can be securely exerted.SOLUTION: A parking brake mechanism comprises: a ratchet gear which is rotated and driven by an electric motor; a pawl member which can be meshed with the ratchet gear; and a solenoid which presses the pawl member to a direction approaching to the ratchet gear during energization. When pressing force Fba of a pressing member is increased (point a1 - point a2), energization of the electric motor is controlled so that an increase gradient of the pressing force Fba such as kf1 is decreased according to the lapse of time. When the pressing force Fba reaches a prescribed value fb1 (point a3), the solenoid is energized (FLs:0→1) so that the pawl member is meshed with the ratchet gear.

    【課題】駐車ブレーキ機構を備える車両の電動制動装置であって、駐車ブレーキの作動が迅速に行われ、且つ、駐車ブレーキの機能が確実に発揮され得るものを提供すること。【解決手段】駐車ブレーキ機構は、電気モータによって回転駆動されるラチェット歯車と、ラチェット歯車と咬み合い可能なつめ部材と、通電時につめ部材をラチェット歯車に近づく方向に押すソレノイドと、を含む。押圧部材の押圧力Fbaが増加させられる際(時点a1〜時点a2)、押圧力Fbaの増加勾配(kf1等)が時間経過にともなって減少するように電気モータへの通電が制御される。押圧力Fbaが所定値fb1に達した後(時点a3)、ソレノイドへの通電を行って(FLs:0→1)、つめ部材がラチェット歯車に咬み合わせられる。【選択図】図9
