A self-stabilizing omnidirectional mobile robot and a mobile device. The self-stabilizing omnidirectional mobile robot comprises a robot body (1), a power system and wheels (2), wherein the power system comprises first power units (3), leg units (4), second power units (5), leg end portions (6), and third power units (7) which are connected in sequence, the first power units (3) being arranged on the robot body (1) and being configured to drive the leg units (4) to swing in a vertical plane relative to the robot body (1). One first power unit (3) is arranged at a hip joint of each leg to control a corresponding leg unit (4) to swing up and down in a vertical direction and thus drive a corresponding wheel (2) to move up and down in the vertical direction. In this way, when the mobile robot encounters an obstacle or a depression during movement, the posture of the robot body (1) can be effectively kept unchanged by means of the vertical movement of the wheels (2).
