The disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for controlling motion, a robot and a storage medium, and relates to the technical field of robots. The method includes: determining (S11) a motion height of a robot at a target gait; determining (S12) a motion moment corresponding to the motion height according to durations of different motion attitudes executed by the robot at the target gait; determining (S13) a motion trajectory of the robot based on a correspondence relationship between the motion height and the motion moment; and controlling (S14) the robot to move with the motion trajectory.
