The method comprises the following steps: acquiring charging data of a to-be-processed electric vehicle in a current time period; performing feature extraction on each piece of charging data to obtain charging features; classifying the to-be-processed electric vehicles based on the charging characteristics, and determining target charging characteristics based on the types of the to-be-processed electric vehicles; and performing prediction based on each target charging feature to obtain the charging load of each type of electric vehicles in the next time period. By adopting the method, the prediction cost can be reduced.
