The invention relates to a computer-implemented method for predicting the behavior of at least one participant of a traffic scene, in which at least one artificial intelligence-based prediction component (2) is used, in order to predict a predefined number K of behavior options (12) of the at least one participant for at least one future time period on the basis of the scene-specific information (10) aggregated at the current time point, each time period comprising a predefined number T of successive time points. According to the invention, at least one current total uncertainty value (13) is determined in parallel with the prediction of the individual behavior options (12), which current total uncertainty value quantifies the cognitive uncertainty of all predicted behavior options (12) for the at least one future time period. The invention also relates to a corresponding computer-implemented system.
