The invention belongs to the technical field of battery thermal management, and particularly provides a thermal management system for a battery pack and a control method of the thermal management system. The problems that an existing battery pack is low in heat exchange speed and uneven in heat exchange are solved. Therefore, the heat management system comprises a pump device, a pipeline, a valve, a water outlet pipe and a plurality of heat exchange plates arranged in the battery pack, and a water outlet and a water inlet are formed in the two ends of the pipeline respectively; the multiple heat exchange plates are communicated through a pipeline, the water inlet and the water outlet are communicated with the pump device and the water outlet pipe through the valve, the valve is arranged to be capable of selectively communicating the pump device with the water inlet or the water outlet, and under the condition that the pump device is communicated with the water inlet through the valve, the water outlet and the water outlet pipe are communicated through the valve. Under the condition that the pump device is communicated with the water outlet through the valve, the water inlet is communicated with the water outlet pipe through the valve. The heat management system can change the flowing direction of the heat exchange medium, so that the heat exchange effect and the heat exchange efficiency are improved, and the time required for heat exchange of the battery pack is shortened.

    本发明属于电池热管理技术领域,具体提供一种用于电池包的热管理系统及其控制方法。旨在解决现有的电池包换热速度慢以及换热不均匀的问题。为此,本发明的热管理系统包括泵装置、管路、阀门、出水管以及设置在电池包内部的多个换热板,管路的两端分别具有出水口和进水口;多个换热板通过管路连通,进水口和出水口通过阀门与泵装置和出水管相连通,阀门设置为能够选择性地将泵装置与进水口或出水口接通,在阀门将泵装置与进水口接通的情形下,阀门将出水口和出水管接通,在阀门将泵装置与出水口接通的情形下,阀门将进水口和出水管接通。该热管理系统能够改变换热介质的流动方向,从而提高换热效果和换热效率,缩短电池包换热需要的时间。
