The vehicle-to-vehicle communication system comprises a target controller and first trackside detection equipment corresponding to the target controller, and the method comprises the following steps: receiving information of a non-communication vehicle sent by the first trackside detection equipment, the non-communication vehicle is a train which passes through the first trackside detection equipment and is disconnected with the target controller, and the information of the non-communication vehicle at least comprises a logic area where the non-communication vehicle is located; and the logic area where the non-communication vehicle is located is sent to a communication vehicle corresponding to the target controller, so that the communication vehicle adjusts the operation state of the communication vehicle according to the logic area where the non-communication vehicle is located.
