A mounting system for mounting a self-supporting truss structure having a plurality of truss elements connected to one another on a fuselage structure of an aircraft, the truss structure comprising a radially outer closed truss node and a radially inner releasable connection node, the mounting system having: a mobile support device movable on a fuselage floor, the shell is provided with an upper accommodating part; a bracket for temporarily holding the truss elements in a predetermined relative position to each other; and a movement device, which is arranged on the upper receiving surface and holds the support in an adjustable position with respect to the bearing surface, the support being spaced further from the contact in the mounting position than in the transport position, the mounting system is designed to move the mobile support device on the floor into a predetermined position inside the fuselage and lock it when the support is in the transport position, to move the support into a suitable mounting position by means of a movement device and to lock the connection node by means of a drive arranged on the support.
