The embodiment of the invention provides a method and device for determining the remaining charging time of a battery. The method comprises the steps that the current charging current, the current electric quantity and the current temperature of the battery are obtained; according to the current charging current, determining first charging time required by the battery from the current electric quantity to a target electric quantity; determining second charging time required by the battery from the target electric quantity to full electric quantity by searching a charging time record table; if the current temperature is lower than a preset temperature, determining the temperature rise time of the battery from the current temperature to the preset temperature; and determining the sum of the first charging time, the second charging time and the temperature rise time as the current residual charging time of the battery. According to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the invention, the accuracy of determining the remaining charging time of the battery can be improved.
