The invention discloses a control method for a range extender of a tandem type hybrid electric vehicle. The control method comprises the following steps that high pressure is applied to the whole vehicle; a driver engages a D gear and steps on an accelerator pedal to start driving; judging whether the SOC of the battery is lt or not; 20%, and the peak discharge power is lt; 40 KW; judging whether the driver carries out rapid acceleration operation or not; if yes, whether the GCU allows to start the APU or not is judged; the VCU sends a starting instruction to the GCU, and the GCU controls an engine to start; by comparing the vehicle speed, looking up a table and outputting the opening threshold value judged by an accelerator pedal and the actual opening, the VCU sends a zero power request, the VCU sends a stop instruction to the GCU, and the GCU controls the APU to stop, the problems that when the rotating speed is very low at the present stage, delay judgment of engine stop is not completed, the crankshaft angle recognized by the engine is inaccurate, and the engine stop delay is not completed are solved. The problems that an engine works disorderly due to continuous start and stop requests, mixed gas is combusted insufficiently due to continuous oil injection by following and dragging, most of the mixed gas enters a catalytic converter to be combusted, the temperature in the catalytic converter is sharply increased, and the catalytic converter is sintered are solved.

    本发明公开了一种串联式混动汽车增程器控制方法,包括以下步骤:整车上高压;驾驶员挂D档,踩加速踏板开始行车;判断电池SOC是否<20%,且峰值放电功率是否<40KW;判断驾驶员是否有急加速操作;若有急加速操作,判断GCU是否允许启动APU;VCU给GCU发出启机指令,GCU控制发动机启动;通过对比车速查表输出加速踏板判断的开度阈值和实际开度,VCU发送0功率请求,VCU给GCU发出停机指令,GCU控制APU停机,解决了现阶段转速很低时,发动机停机的延迟判断还没完成,发动机识别的曲轴角度已经不准确,进而导致连续请求启停导致发动机工作混乱,跟随拖动持续喷油,致使混合气燃烧不充分,随后多数混合气进入催化器内部燃烧,催化器内温度急剧升高,致使催化器烧结的问题。
