According to the method, the speed information of the electric vehicle and the charge capacity of the power battery are collected, the power currently needed by the range extender is calculated according to a fuzzy rule, the working point of the range extender is reasonably controlled. Compared with a control method in the prior art, the oil consumption of the electric vehicle can be effectively reduced.
