The first walking part and the second walking part are used for driving the robot to walk; the multi-degree-of-freedom connecting arm at least comprises a motion adjusting module, and the motion adjusting module comprises a steering assembly and a swinging assembly which are connected; the swing assembly comprises a swing motor, and an output shaft of the swing motor is arranged in the front-back direction. The steering assembly comprises a steering motor, and an output shaft of the steering motor is arranged in the vertical direction. The steering motor is driven, and the first walking part steers on the horizontal plane; the swing motor is driven, and the first walking part swings in a pitching mode on the vertical plane; according to the robot, the multi-degree-of-freedom connecting arm and the motion adjusting module are arranged between the first walking part and the second walking part, climbing, steering, twisting and stretching of the robot are achieved, then the high maneuvering performance and the climbing capacity of the robot are improved, and the robot can adapt to walking in a closed space and a complex terrain and detect the interior of equipment.
