The upper layer of the robot body is responsible for installing a robot control system and components, the middle layer of the robot body comprises a steering mechanism for achieving steering of the robot, and the lower layer of the robot body comprises a moving mechanism for achieving front-back movement of the robot, leg components for achieving foot end movement of the robot and an adsorption structure for achieving adsorption of the robot on a wall face through claw components. Through mutual cooperation of the robot body, the leg components, the adsorption structure, the moving mechanism on the robot body and the steering mechanism, the robot can walk on the surface needing to be climbed during use; and the characteristic of high load ratio of the foot-type wall-climbing robot is realized by adopting a moving structure of combining a stepping motor with a lead screw, a structure of combining a single skirt with a multi-lip sealing ring and a capturing structure of friction plates added with spikes.
