The method comprises the steps that a vehicle is controlled to run to a target position according to a preset running mode, in the preset running mode, the running speed of the vehicle at the (i + 1) th moment is determined based on the deceleration at the ith moment, the deceleration at the ith moment is determined based on the running speed at the ith moment, a preset distance is reserved between the target position and a parking point, and the preset distance is larger than the preset distance between the target position and the parking point; i is a positive integer; and under the condition that the vehicle runs to the target position, braking operation is executed. According to the embodiment of the invention, the parking process of the vehicle can be divided into a deceleration stage and a braking stage, rough control can be carried out in the deceleration stage, the control process is simple, the robustness is higher, the limitation on a parking site is small, the application range is wider, the parking precision is ensured by utilizing the braking operation, and thus the precise parking requirements in various scenes are met.
