The quadruped robot comprises a trunk unit, the trunk unit comprises a supporting beam, the supporting beam comprises a vertically-arranged plate-shaped body, the body is located in the middle of the trunk unit in the transverse direction, and the two ends of the body extend to the front end and the rear end of the trunk unit in the longitudinal direction of the trunk unit correspondingly. According to the quadruped robot, good structural stability can be kept when the quadruped robot walks in a load-bearing mode, and the load capacity can be improved.
