The invention discloses a transverse flapping type flapping wing which comprises a wing shaft, a wing bone, wing surfaces and a locking connecting rod, the wing surfaces are rotatably arranged on the wing shaft through the wing bone, and the wing surfaces are distributed on the two sides or one side of the wing shaft; the wing surface, the wing bone and the wing shaft form a wing rotating by taking the wing shaft as an axis; the wings are arranged in rows; one end of the wing shaft is a wing shaft root and is connected with the fuselage rotating system; the other ends of the wing shafts are wing shaft tips, and the wing shaft tips of every two adjacent wings are connected through a locking connecting rod to form a set of wings. According to the invention, the defect that the ornithopter cannot be made into a large manned object is overcome, and meanwhile, the flapping cycle of the ornithopter is shortened to achieve a stable flight state; the ornithopter has the vertical take-off and landing and gliding flight capabilities, the energy consumption of the ornithopter is greatly reduced, the ornithopter has wide application fields, and the large airfoil can ensure the safety of the ornithopter like a parachute when a fault occurs in the air.

    本发明公开了一种横扑式扑翼,包括翼轴、翼骨、翼面和锁联连杆,翼面通过翼骨可转动的设置于翼轴上,翼面分布于翼轴两侧或单侧;所述翼面、翼骨和翼轴组成一张以翼轴为轴心旋转的机翼;若干个机翼成排设置;所述翼轴一端为翼轴根,并与机身转动系统相连;所述翼轴另一端为翼轴稍,相邻两个机翼的翼轴稍通过锁联连杆连接形成一组机翼。本发明解决了扑翼飞行器不能做成大型载人载物的缺点,同时使扑翼飞行器的挥扑周期变小而达到飞行状态平稳;使扑翼飞行器具有垂直起降和滑翔飞行能力,大大降低了飞行器的能源消耗,使得扑翼飞行器有着广泛的运用领域,大翼面使在空中故障时可以象降落伞一样保障飞行器的安全。
