The invention discloses a safety management method based on a lead-acid battery and application thereof, and the method comprises the steps: monitoring the voltage difference between different single lead-acid batteries through a BMS battery manager when an electric vehicle is static and/or is charged and/or a load is started; judging whether the voltage difference accords with a fixed voltage difference value characteristic between any two serially connected lead-acid batteries, if so, determining that the current battery is the lead-acid battery, and if not, determining that the current battery is not the lead-acid battery; through a simple control scheme, potential safety hazards caused by illegal modification of the lead-acid battery in the electric vehicle are avoided, and the safety management level of the lead-acid battery type electric vehicle is obviously improved.
本发明公开了一种基于铅酸电池的安全管理方法及其应用,当电动车静止和/或进行充电和/或负载启动时,通过BMS电池管理器监测不同单节铅酸电池之间的电压差;判断所述电压差是否符合任意两节串接铅酸电池之间的固定电压差值特征,当符合时,认定当前电池是铅酸电池,当不符合时,认定当前电池不是铅酸电池;本申请通过简单控制方案杜绝了电动车中的铅酸电池被非法改装而产生的安全隐患,明显提高了铅酸电池型电动车的安全管理水平。
