The method comprises steps of obtaining a current local path, and determining a current global path corresponding to the current local path according to a starting position and an ending position of the current local path; and determining the steering direction of the unmanned vehicle according to the trend of the current local path and the curvature change of the current global path, turning on a corresponding steering lamp of the unmanned vehicle according to the steering direction, and controlling the unmanned vehicle to run along the current local path. The method is advantaged in that a problem that the turn light of an existing unmanned vehicle is turned on later is solved.
