After the operation and maintenance ship stops, the height of the lifting base is adjusted according to the vertical distance between the operation and maintenance ship and the wharf, and therefore the pedestrian path is flush with a deck of the operation and maintenance ship. The pedestrian path is adjusted according to the horizontal distance between the operation and maintenance ship and the wharf, so that the pedestrian path extends to be arranged on the deck. Then the first telescopic ladder is adjusted, so that the bottom of the first telescopic ladder is hinged to the deck. In the invention, the auxiliary embarkation device can be adjusted according to the vertical distance and the horizontal distance between the operation and maintenance ship and the wharf, so that the limitation of the auxiliary embarkation device is broken through, and the auxiliary embarkation device adapts to different berthing conditions.
