The invention provides a tower crane adopting a quick traction mechanism, comprising a tower body, a rotary table arranged on the tower body, a cargo boom driven by the rotary table to rotate, a traction frame assembly arranged in front of the tower body, a pin shaft for connecting the tower body and the traction frame assembly, and a rear axle arranged behind the tower body. The traction frame assembly is arranged, and is a rapid traction mechanism; traction connection switching between the whole tower crane and different tractors can be rapidly completed; and the whole tower crane can be subjected to low-speed short-distance traction transition through a common tractor and can also be subjected to high-speed long-distance transition through traction of a special trailer head, so that thetransition transportation cost of the tower crane is reduced.
