The invention provides a folding type quick installation tower crane which comprises a tower body, a first arm section, a second arm section, a third arm section and a trolley travelling mechanism, wherein the top end of the tower body is connected with the first arm section; the first arm section and the second arm section are connected through a first folding mechanism; and the second arm section and the third arm section are connected through a second folding mechanism. According to the folding type quick installation tower crane, a tower top pulley block is arranged on the tower body; the tower top pulley block is connected with one end of a counterweight inclined strut and one end of a tower cap inclined strut respectively; the other end of the counterweight inclined strut and the other end of the tower cap inclined strut are connected with two ends of a lower supporting rod respectively; the lower part of the joint of the counterweight inclined strut and the lower supporting rod is connected with a counterweight inclined strut pull-down rod; and the lower end of the counterweight inclined strut pull-down rod is connected with a counter weight.
