The invention discloses a photovoltaic powered aircraft, which comprises an aircraft main body and further comprises a photovoltaic battery assembly and an adjusting mechanism which are arranged on the aircraft main body, wherein the photovoltaic battery assembly is fixed to the output end of the adjusting mechanism, and the adjusting mechanism is used for driving the photovoltaic battery assemblyto change the installation angle of the photovoltaic battery assembly on the aircraft main body so as to influence the power generation efficiency of the photovoltaic battery assembly. The photovoltaic battery module power adjustment method comprises the steps that a flight controller detects the output power of a photovoltaic controller; when it is detected that the output power is reduced to exceed a preset value, real-time flight attitude data and real-time light angle data are obtained; and the flight controller controls the adjusting mechanism to change the installation angle of the photovoltaic battery assembly. The invention relates to the field of aviation, and provides a photovoltaic powered aircraft and a photovoltaic battery assembly power adjustment method thereof, which can overcome the problem of unstable photovoltaic battery assembly power caused by flight attitude change of an unmanned aerial vehicle, prolong the power supply time and improve the cruising ability of the aircraft.
