An integrated controller: calculates a requested drive force on the basis of an accelerator position; calculates a second clutch torque capacity, required by the second clutch to transmit the requested drive force, as a target torque capacity; calculates actual torque of an engine and actual torque of a motor; calculates a torque deviation, which is a deviation between the target torque capacity and the sum of the actual torque of the engine and the actual torque of the motor; and determines that there is a problem with the engaging of the second clutch when the torque deviation is greater than a first malfunction determination value during wet start clutch control.
