The invention refers to the field of wave glider, and aims to provide an ocean exploring robot driven by wave energy. The ocean exploring robot driven by wave energy comprises a mechanical power part and a detector part; the mechanical power part includes a floater base body, a rudder slice, a wing slice, a flexible cable, a heavy block, a robot frame, a storage battery, a single chip, and a steering engine; the detector part is realized by a floater carrier, the floater carrier is connected with a floater base and used for installing and fixing a solar cell panel, a PH sensor, a temperature sensor, a GPS module, and a wireless communication module. The ocean exploring robot driven by wave energy can convert the wave energy into forward pushing force by depending on a mechanical structure, and charges a plurality of mounted sensors by means of the solar cell panel; the robot can complete different functional demands by simply changing the mounted instruments instead of additional energy; and thereby, the multifunctional use and expanded use of the platform are realized.
