Diesel-electric roll-on roll-off heavy lift ship built for John Fisher and Sons by Ailsa Shipbuilding Co to carry turboalternators, which are to eventually involve unit loads of 300 tons, for installation in CEGB base-load stations; length oa 284 ft, molded breadth 53 ft, molded depth 20 ft 6 in., operating draft 12 ft, gross 2355 tons; hydraulic lift of 300-ton capacity, and two 50-ton derricks are installed.
