Extracts from memorandum published by British Electrical and Allied Mfrs' Assn, Lond (price 6d), which sets out needs of British electrical industry, and shortcomings of existing transport facilities, both by rail and by road; trend of electrical design is towards indivisible loads with longer physical dimensions and weights; table giving dimensions of typical large units for which transport will have to be provided in course of next few years is presented.
