Constructional details of moving base manned docking simulator, installed at General Electric Missile and Space Div; attitude control system uses cold gas reaction jets as does translation propulsion system; simulator serves to investigate pilot controlled docking maneuver to develop insight into critical aspects of maneuver, and to obtain design criteria for docking mechanisms, reaction controls, and cabin arrangement and controls.
