PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resource recovery system capable of recovering resource from soil at water bottom by a simple method and a resource recovery method.SOLUTION: A resource recovery system has a recovery conveyor 3, which is installed on a work barge 100 on the sea S and from the work barge 100 through to a sea bottom B to recover mineral M existing in a soil G under the sea bottom B and is towed by a towing vessel 101. The recovery conveyor 3 has an inlet port 11a, which opens toward a front side in a travel direction of the towing vessel 101 and suctions the mineral M, at its end part on the sea bottom B side, and a drain hole 11b, which opens toward a top face of the work barge 100 and drains the mineral M suctioned from the inlet port 11a, at its end part on the work barge 100 side. The recovery conveyor also has a pipe-shaped main part 11 capable of contacting with the sea bottom B and elastically deforming as the recovery conveyor is towed by the tow vessel 101.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】簡易な手法で、水底の地盤から資源を回収することを可能とする資源回収装置、及び資源回収方法を提供する。【解決手段】海上Sに配された作業船100と海底Bとの間にわたって作業船100に設けられて海底Bの地盤Gに存在する鉱物Mを回収するとともに、曳航船101によって曳航される回収コンベア3を備え、回収コンベア3は、海底B側の端部に曳航船101の進行方向の前方側に向かって開口して鉱物Mを吸い込む吸込口11a、及び、作業船100側の端部に作業船100の船上に向かって開口して吸込口11aから吸い込んだ鉱物Mを排出する排出口11bが形成され、かつ、曳航船101による曳航に伴って海底Bに接触して弾性変形可能なパイプ状の本体部11を有することを特徴としている。【選択図】図1
