The invention provides a slip state detection device and a suspension control device. The suspension control device unit has a slip state detection device for detecting the slip state of the wheel. The slip state detection device has a second slip rate calculation unit, a slip rate allocation calculation unit, and a third slip rate calculation unit. The second slip rate calculation unit obtains a slip rate (second slip rate) taking into account tire characteristics on the basis of the front-rear acceleration (front-rear acceleration) of the vehicle detected by the front-rear acceleration sensor and the tire characteristics (slip rate coefficient). The slip rate allocation calculation unit calculates the ratio of the slip rate of each vehicle. A third slip rate calculation unit corrects a slip rate (second slip rate) in consideration of tire characteristics at a ratio of the slip rate of each wheel obtained from the rotational speed signal of each wheel, and obtains a corrected slip rate (third slip rate) of each wheel.
