Aero derivative gas turbine engines have been applied to both industrial and marine applications. These applications can benefit from logistic planning similar to that used on military aeronautical gas turbines. Extensive procedures have been developed and applied to design, development, and support for Aero gas turbines. Many of these procedures can be directly applied to marine installations. The concepts for much Aero programs can benefit training, provisioning, documentation, defining maintenance programs, special tooling needs, projected durability, and overall production and post production support for a marine application.
