Information based largely on results of work at Aero-Engine Laboratory at Thornton, Cheshire; requirements which aircraft gas turbine fuels must satisfy are separated into two sets -- those arising from performance needs of engines, and those arising from problems associated with supplying fuel from aircraft tanks to engine combustion chambers.
