This military system will provide the US Army with the spectrum management data needed for the SINCGARS (single channel airborne radio systems) and other planned frequency hopping radios. The system consists of two primary components, the basic generation unit (BGU) and the electronic notebook. The BGU will be a lap top computer which is able to generate, store, sort, print and transfer battlefield instructions and spectrum management data.
