This paper presents design of the semi-active suspensions of trucks in order to ful-fil conflicting demands: road friendliness and comfort. The spatial decomposition approach is proposed to design the suspension structure. The contribution of the semi-active suspension is verified by the experiments including cornering and braking with a complex truck simulation model.
