The actual engineering requirement of control performance is considered and the control scheme is designed for the vehicle-mounted flexible manipulator such that the prescribed performance of the system can be realized under control while vibration suppression and position regulation are achieved. Under the proposed control, the convergence speed and output errors of the system are constrained within the given performance index function.
