Due to physical structure constraints, open wireless network environment and other characteristics, under high-speed driving conditions, the intelligent connected vehicle platoon is sensitive and vulnerable to the external environmental disturbances, such as slippery road surface, strong wind, strong sand, etc., and the communication faults induced by malicious attacks. It is easy to cause the desired inter-vehicle distance to increase or shorten, which leads to system instability and damages the string stability. From the perspective of control, how to ensure the collision avoidance, improve the ICVPS’s fault recovery ability and strong resilience under the conditions of communication faults and disturbances, and ensure closed-loop control stability and string stability have important engineering value.
