It is easy to cause the desired inter-vehicle distance to increase or shorten, which leads to system instability and damages the string stability. From the perspective of control, how to ensure the collision avoidance, improve the ICVPS’s fault recovery ability and strong resilience under the conditions of communication faults and disturbances, and ensure closed-loop control stability and string stability have important engineering value.
