Cam profiles have hereto being designed as a compromise in an attempt to fulfill an array of requirements as a motor-car engine is accelerated from idle to full speed, with loads and temperature varying across the full spectrum.To fully cope with the variable conditions under which the engine is normally operated, we have developed an improved version of the camshaft to comply with the following pre-requesites:
