The report deals with the Driver Education function of the Maryland Highway Traffic Safety Needs Study. The purpose of the study has been to identify specific present and future needs in driver education for the State of Maryland. A suggested program that would fulfill these needs as well as the requirements of the National Highway Safety Act of 1966 has been developed. (Author)
