This is a study of Maryland's laws and ordinances concerned with the operation of the motor vehicle over the highways and streets. The principal purpose is to make certain that Maryland has the kind of law that will enable it to meet the requirements of the Highway Safety Act of 1966, and the National Highway Safety Bureau standards and recommendations. A detailed side by side comparison was made of the Maryland Rules of the Road with the Uniform Vehicle Code.
