The report is the result of a feasibility study conducted in the Shenzhen Special Economics Zone for the Peoples Republic of China concerning a joint cooperation project in civil airport planning, design, management, and operations technologies. The report is broken into eight major sections: (1) Site Evaluation; (2) Forecasts of Air Traffic Demand; (3) Airport Plans and Aeronautical Systems; (4) Airport and Vicinity Land Usage; (5) Management, Operations, and Revenues; (6) Financial Feasibility; (7) Macroeconomic Impact; (8) Policy Issues; and (9) Program Suggestions. Oversized charts, figures, or maps were removed prior to reproduction at NTIS.
