Vehicle road cooperation system can assist autonomous vehicles to realize cooperative perception, decision-making and control. The 5G communication technology deployed in the vehicle road cooperation scenario provides communication support for autonomous vehicles. However, there are also some cross-border communication problems in cross-border road sections where network switching occurs. This paper first analyzes the cross-border communication problem in the 5G vehicle road collaboration scenario, designs a overtaking case for 5G communication technology testing, studies the solution to the session and service continuity problem in the cross-border scenario, and tests it in the overtaking case to verify the effectiveness of the solution.
