In order to improve vehicle rollover stability and save energy, an anti-rollover control strategy of vehicle with energy-feed suspension system is proposed. The dynamic model of the energy regenerative suspension is established using AMESim, including active control part and energy feedback part. The energy feedback part can convert the relative displacement between the sprung mass and the unsprung mass of the vehicle into electric energy through the hydraulic system. The lateral load transfer rate (LTR) is used to evaluated the risk of vehicle. Then an anti-rollover control strategy is designed using PID control algorithm. Some typical conditions are selected to simulate the dynamic performance of vehicle. The results show that the designed control strategy not only improves the anti-rollover ability of the vehicle, but also has a certain energy recovery ability.
