Electric vehicles usually need a battery which has been charged by external electrical power stations. This is in some cases a serious burden for wide spread use. In this paper, we have proposed the most feasible solar power generation system mounted on the electrical vehicles to charge smart battery during running. In our experiments, about 700 W to 800 W electrical power is supplied on a usual daytime, which is about 2 times of conventional power level. We have also proposed two kinds of efficiency tracking system for electrical vehicles use, one is the feedforward type which sets a new condition point according to the change of energy (this is called QF1-method), the other is the robust efficiency tracking climbing method (QF2 method). Finally, experimental results have shown the effectiveness of our proposal.
