The design and deployment of an underwater Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) with built-in sonar tracking capabilities is presented in this study. The central processing unit of the system is an Arduino Nano microcontroller, which manages a number of subsystems, including as sensing, propulsion, and navigation. The ROV can move precisely in various directions underwater by using a dual-motor setup controlled by L293D motor drivers. One set is for horizontal drive motors, and the other is for vertical thruster motors. A joystick interface is used for navigation, and a keypad input mechanism is used for other purposes. The ROV has a sonar module for tracking and detecting underwater objects, as well as a camera system for visual feedback. An LCD screen shows the real-time data from these sensors, giving operators vital environmental data. For underwater operations, LED lighting guarantees adequate illumination. A centralised power supply unit powers the entire system by supplying each component with the proper voltage levels. Because of its modular architecture, which enables future expansions and alterations to fulfil specific mission needs, this ROV design provides an affordable option for underwater exploration, inspection, and research applications.
