A fractional-order voltage-controlled oscillator (FO-VCO) using two multiplication mode current conveyors (MMCC), three grounded resistors and two grounded capacitors is presented for the first time. The proposition also shows how condition of oscillation (COO) and frequency of oscillation (FOO) can be controlled orthogonally by two separate sources. The proposed circuit is revealed to be a voltage- controlled quadrature oscillator with high frequency range of oscillations. The conventional case and all the fractional-order instances have been tested on the circuit, and the relevant MATLAB plots are provided. Multiplication Mode Current Conveyor is realized through the library files of AD835 and AD844 for validating the oscillator's performance on PSPICE.
