In recent years, quadrotor UAVs have been widely used in civil and military fields for their excellent maneuverability, ability to take off and land vertically, and hovering flight. In order to solve the problems of underdriven, strongly coupled, highly nonlinearly, and easily disturbed quadrotor UAVs, many scholars have studied its control methods, which can be broadly classified into linear and nonlinear, and intelligent control methods. In this paper, we briefly review the published papers on quadrotor UAV control methods in recent years, classify these control methods into the above three categories, and briefly review each method.
