We have measured terahertz emission from various organic crystals excited by femtosecond pulses. Our four emitters are 3,5-dimethyl-1-(4-nitrophyenyl)-1,2,4-triazole (DMNT), 3,9-dinitro-5a,6, 11a,12-tetrahydro-[1,4] benzoxazino [3,2-b] [1,4] benzoxazine (DNBB), 1-(2-thienyl)-3-(4-methyl-phyenyl) propenone (TC-28), and 1-(3-thienyl)-3-(4-bromphenyl) propenone (TC-122). Bandwidths of these emitters are achieved to be more than 4 THz.
